CHRISTINE RESCH

Christine grew up in a variety of places -Birmingham, Bristol, Highly, Stottesdon, Mount Sorrel. She came to university in Hatfield and graduated in business and finance from the university of Hertfordshire in 2016. She currently work as a Finance Assistant and is studying for an ACCA qualification. She also runs a Guide and a Senior Section unit in Hatfield, which helps keep her on her toes planning meetings, trips and coordinating teenagers!

What are your main responsibilities within KCC?
I am responsible for creche this includes managing the team and the rota. We seek to help introduce Jesus and faith to all children under 5 who are part of our church or just visiting.
How long have you been a part of KCC?
I've been part of KCC since moving to Hatfield for university in September 2012.
How long have you been a Christian?
I've been a Christian longer than I can remember, my decision to become a Christian was probably made during a Sunday school meeting. The most public time I declared my faith would have been when I reaffirmed the baptism vows my parents and Godparents made for me as an infant through confirmation at about the age of 13/14.
What do you do to relax?
To relax I enjoy visiting the theatre or curling up with a book, recently fairy tales with a twist.
What is your earliest childhood memory?
A Christmas present, toy pram aged about 6
What is your ideal holiday destination?
New Zealand.
What is your favourite film?
My favourite film - old musicals something starring, Julie Andrews, Judy Garland or Doris Day and a happy ending. Disney's good too.
