DAVID RIGBY
David has been involved in full-time Christian ministry for more than 25 years, having previously worked as an economist. Prior to coming to Hatfield, he led the Newfrontiers church in Brentwood for ten years. David and Jacky married in 1970, and have four grown up children and four grandchildren – so far!

Preaching, worship, students and overseas visits and connections.

How did you become a Christian?
As a response to God at a Christian boys camp in Shanklin, Isle of Wight
How long have you been a Christian?
Since I went to that camp when I was 11 years old
What do you do to relax?
Spend time with Jacky, model railways, walk, play the guitar
What is your earliest childhood memory?
Watching the bonfire night fireworks from my bedroom window sill, I think
What is your ideal holiday destination?
South Africa, closely followed by the Lake District and the States
What is your favourite film?
Difficult....'Much Ado About Nothing', 'Sleepless in Seattle'? More into TV series really,
and then it's 'The West Wing' - head and shoulders
What is your favourite takeaway?
Indian, by miles
